Regional Application
Policy on Internet applications varies in different countries and regions. Unlimited use of some Internet applications such as online gaming and online financial applications may negatively impact enterprises productivity. Others like Freegate and Wujie who can go through some filters without being filtered have been blacklisted by some countries and regions. Employees may access forbidden web content through these applications during working hours, bringing productivity loss and enterprise liability such as investigation from legal department.
Strict Control Policy
Anchiva offer strict granular policy based on time period, user/user group to regional applications such as online-game, fiancial applications, and tunnel software.
- Provide control based on protocol and signature to online-gaming, online-stocking and tunnel software.- Choose policies to allow access based on hours of the day and days of the week. For example, limit users to online-gaming and online-stocking during lunch time.- Allow user/user-based control. For example, allow finance department use financial Internet applications.
