Malware type
Malware is a catch-all phrase to include all forms of softwares designed to damage or infiltrate computer system, or pose threats to user computer networks and information security. Malware includes computer viruses, worms, trojan horses, backdoors, spyware, adware, hacker tools and other risky software.
 
According to Anchiva RapidRx Labs, since 2008, tens of thousands of malware is detected every day. Trojan horses, spyware, worms, backdoors, risky software, and adware take significant portions whereas traditional virus and other malwares are almost negligible. (See the following pictures.)

-Trojan and spyware become major form of malware, with stealing user information as main purpose.
-Malware is massively produced with shorter life span and faster growth.
-Polymorphic malware code creat difficulty in anti-malware inspection.
-HTTP/HTTPS become main channel of malware distribution and information passing back.
