Deployed at the internet gateway, Anchiva’s SWG provides real-time inspection and filtering of inbound and outbound web requests to block access to malicious sites. Protection is provided to webservers that hackers try to break into and plant their malware for distribution. To protect against website break-ins and defacements the server protection threat database can detect and block attacks aimed at disrupting the correct operations of webservers, including SQL injections to alter or steal data stored on backend database, buffer overflows used to break into webserver applications, and additional attacks such as cross site scripting and attacks aimed at leaking sensitive system and data information.
